Plan-B
85-90% WITHIN 72 HOURS, ONE-TIME USE AFTER SEX, OK EFFECTIVE
The morning after pills uses progestin to stop ovaries from releasing an egg. It's most effective if taken within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex, but continues to be effective up to 5 days to help prevent pregnancy. Effectiveness decreases over time, so it's better to take sooner than later.
